Eric's Trip are one of Warm Cola's all
time favorite bands. The brilliant meld of chaotic noise, underpinned
with near perfect pop sensibility and DIY recording aesthetic gained
them a great cult following particularly in their own country but
boasted a dedicated underground following around the world ( Like in
Melbourne Australia which is where we are based!!!)
They hailed from Moncton ,New Brunswick in
Canada and released four SUB POP LP releases and numerous ep's and
7inches on a few local labels, some of which were released on Sonic
Union records as "Long Days Ride Till Tommorow"....... Sadly the
group split in Mid 1996 with members going onto side projects of
ELEVATOR TO HELL(Rick White/Mark Gaudet) , MOONSOCKET (Chris
Thompson) and JULIE DORION......
We would like any Bands or Home Tapists to contribute
covers of their favorite ERIC's TRIP songs!!!! For this Warm Cola
CD/Cassette release.
